This year, the Bahrain Chamber will participate in the International Enterprise Challenge Award Conference, which is held virtually with the participation of a group of Bahraini businesswomen from all over the world, in preparation for hosting the prominent global event next year 2021, God willing, in the Kingdom of Bahrain, which will be held for the first time in the Middle East region. This is due to the privileged position of the supportive business environment in the Kingdom of Bahrain, which qualified it well to host this year’s conference.

In this context, a member of the Chamber’s Board of Directors, Sheikha Hind bint Salman Al Khalifa, affirmed that the Kingdom of Bahrain’s entitlement to organize this global conference comes after our distinguished participation last year in the Indian capital New Delhi, during which, thank God, I managed to win the award in addition to the victory of the Chair of the Finance and Tax Committee in the Chamber and Mrs. Business Mrs. Sawsan Abu Al-Hassan.

She added that as part of the preparations for the Bahrain Chamber’s participation in the conference for this year, we have nominated 3 of the most prominent businesswomen in Bahrain, and we aspire to enable them to win and honor the Kingdom of Bahrain with more international titles. They are Mrs. Batoul Dadabhai, CEO of Dadabhai Group and founder of Affinity Group. And a member of the Board of Directors of the Bahrain Chamber, which brings more than 15 years of experience in the commercial and charitable fields.

As for the second nominee, Mrs. Khairiya Dashti, Director General and Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Capital Company for Trade and Industry, who was nominated as the first Arab businesswoman for the Distinguished Industrial Field Award for 2015 from the World Association of Women and Entrepreneurs, also has a distinguished record of membership in organizations of economic concern On the Arab and international levels.

The third candidate is Sabah Khalil Al-Moayyed, Executive Partner of Intellect Resources Management WLL, CEO of Flat6Labs Incubator, and Board Member of Bahrain Development Bank and other financial and banking institutions.

This conference will be organized – remotely – for this year on 9 and 10 November next at 11:00 in the morning through visual means of communication, due to the exceptional circumstances of the Corona pandemic, provided that it will be organized as usual next year, God willing. For more information about the conference and to register, please visit the Chamber’s website.
